New Emergency Legislation PASSED

WE HAVE TO STOP THE BOATS

We’re stopping the boats to make things fairer for British people — and for those who need our help.

We've already made progress - crossings are down 33% compared to last year. By comparison, crossings to other European countries are up by 80%.

The asylum backlog is down from 92,000 to less than 20,000.

We've done all this despite Labour and human rights lawyers trying to block us every step of the way.

Tell us whether you back our plans?

We believe that people who come to our country illegally should be detained and removed.

And we believe that people who genuinely need our help shouldn’t be sent to the back of the queue because of illegal boat crossings.

That’s why we’re taking action to stop the boats, one of our five priorities, and we need your support.

So tell us your views on Stopping the Boats.

We've passed the toughest laws ever to stop the boats. Meaning if you come here illegally, you won’t be able to stay.

The Safety of Rwanda Act gets removal flights going by:

1. Confirming that Rwanda is safe

2. Preventing courts from second guessing that assessment

3. Disapplying sections of the Human Rights Act that have prevented removals to Rwanda

4. Putting Parliament back in charge of our borders

Now that this bill has been passed, the process of removing the people identified for the first flight has begun. And the flights will start in 10-12 weeks time.

The legal merry-go-round and delaying tactics stops now.

Not everyone in Westminster likes this approach.

Too many politicians want to duck this issue.

Labour have voted against our plan to Stop the Boats over 130 times.

But we know it's a priority for you. So will you fill in our survey and let us know what you think?
