The CCHQ Campaigning Summer Internship Scheme

Gain essential campaigning skills in a General Election year working for the Conservative Party.

The Internship Scheme

How is this year's scheme different?

  • As we enter the General Election year our priority at CCHQ is to be on the ground, in our constituencies, and tackling our opposition. This year's scheme will provide you with an opportunity to help us do just that.
  • You will be based on the ground close to your own home, so whether you live in the North, the South, London, Scotland, or Wales this scheme is for you.
  • You will learn through our team of highly experienced Campaign Managers what it takes to run a local campaign, how to organise visits, design campaign material, and talk to voters all while working closely with the local MP or Candidate.

  • The Scheme will run for six weeks starting on the 24th June 2024. You must be available for the full six-week programme.

We believe that talent exists everywhere – no matter your background or where you come from.

We believe that we’re at our best when our organisation reflects all the communities we serve and represent.

That’s why we set up the summer internship scheme.

Working together with the Patchwork Foundation, we'll help you discover the diversity of modern politics. The scheme is designed to support young adults who may not have thought a career in politics was possible by providing the skills, insight, experiences, and pastoral support needed to overcome any barriers.

We are particularly interested in hearing from dynamic and motivated young adults from under-represented backgrounds. So don’t rule yourself out – apply today!
